SKIN Culture’s skin needling treatments a great way to impeccably conceal skin imperfections brought about by ageing. At SKIN Culture, we use Raffine, the New Generation, Medical Grade, and ARTG-listed Skin Needling Device for our skin needling treatment. Also called Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), this treatment is minimally invasive and uses microscopic needles to treat skin concerns. Tiny puncture channels are created within the epidermis and dermis to encourage organic renewal and regenerating response.
Before, During, and After Treatment
When you come in for your treatment, we will cleanse the skin to make sure that the area is free from makeup, moisturisers, and sunscreen. We will then sterilise the skin with chlorhexidine and start moving the electronic needling device over your skin. This step usually takes about 15 minutes. Once we have finished, we will use a saline solution to re-cleanse the area and apply specialised serum and a moisturiser. For certain skin conditions, LED will be used for 10 minutes to finalise the treatment.
Following the skin needling treatment, your skin will appear red like having a mild sunburn. This appearance will subside within 48 hours. There might be some slight swelling directly after the treatment but that will settle by the following day. Our resident beauty therapist will provide you with written aftercare information so you will know what to do.
