Jana Perkins

I offer a refined approach to skin, shaped by years of hands-on experience.

I’ve been working in skin health for over 30 years. As the founder of Skin Culture, I help people feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin through simple, tailored treatments that focus on real results.

This clinic is my life’s work. It brings together everything I’ve learned from decades in beauty therapy, dermal education, and advanced skin revision, both here in Australia and around the world.

I started my first business in Subiaco in the late ’80s. Since then, I’ve worked across Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, South Africa, and parts of Europe — training therapists, managing spa teams, and supporting clients with a wide range of skin needs.

Along the way, I’ve worn a few hats; from spa manager and careers advisor to lecturer and international examiner. These roles have shaped the way I work today: calm, considered, and always client-focused.

These days, my focus is on corrective skin and scar treatments. I support clients through skin trauma, post-surgical recovery, or long-standing concerns like stretch marks and pigmentation changes.

It’s about improving what’s there, not masking it. And supporting you with honesty, care, and science-backed techniques.

Education & Mentorship

Teaching has always been a big part of my career. I’ve worked as a senior lecturer at beauty colleges here in WA, and as an international examiner for CIDESCO to help maintain global standards in skin therapy and education.

Sharing knowledge is something I value deeply. I bring that same mindset into the clinic every day. This helps you understand your skin, not just treat it.

Skin Culture is a boutique clinic based in Applecross. I work one-on-one with every client in a quiet, private setting. There’s no team, no handovers — just consistent care from start to finish.

When I’m not in the clinic, I’m at home with my husband and twin daughters, enjoying Perth life.
