Camouflage Tattoo Treatment
Camouflage Tattoo Treatment is our way to treat scars and make them unnoticeable. It is also called paramedical tattooing or stretch mark camouflage. The treatment uses microneedling and micropigmentation to cover up or camouflage skin irregularities such as self-harm scars, surgical scars, burns, skin grafts, and other normal skin conditions like birthmarks, wrinkles, hypopigmentation, and others.
SKIN Culture uses custom blended NUE pigments/inks for any scar treatment in Myaree and surrounds, matching it to your skin tone using NUE Conceal’s innovative skin tone reader device. The camouflage tattoo treatment fills in the areas where your natural pigment is missing, like white or silver scars or stretch marks. However, if you have new/pink/purple scars or stretch marks, please reach out as there are other helpful treatments available in the clinic.
Post-care
Just like after every microneedling session, our scar treatment in Myaree and surrounds has post-care procedures that you need to follow so you can heal properly. It will be discussed with you before and after the treatment. But for posterity, here are some of them:
- Avoid excessive sun exposure for a week to prevent sun-damaged skin.
- Use sunscreen constantly for the first two weeks.
- Avoid any skin infection by always washing your hands before touching your face.
- Don’t put on makeup in the first 24 hours after the session.
- Avoid swimming pools and situations where you might sweat profusely like intense workouts or sauna sessions to protect the skin.
